im going into 10th grade this fall and over the summer i have to read, Guns, Germs, and Steel. The Fates of Human Societies. Any tips on how to get through it????
500 pages divided by 14 days = 36
so if you read 36 pages a day you'll get through it! just set yourself that goal and stick to it! that's less than 1 hour reading a day and if you do it first thing in the morning you can spend the rest of the day guilt free!
Just peck away at it every night and every morning you can spare. When you're watching television, pick up the book. It's important to not be lazy. One chapter per sitting would be best. Remember, the night you decide to say, "Well, one night wouldn't hurt, I guess. I'll do it tomorrow," you just made it harder to pick up the next night.
