how do i reactivate IM on my LG Neon phone?

I purchaded an i phone, I cannot download itunes from my computer. I asked the agent to reactivate my phone until i could go to the store and activate my i phone. She had me put the new SIM card from the I phon into my LG Neon phone and now I can not receive or sent text messages or instant message
