i have a motorola cable box.
there's no cc button on the remote.
i can't find any option for it in the menu.
i've tried the cable-power-menu really fast trick. when it works, it only brings up the quick menu.
i've tried turning off the box and pressing menu for the hidden menu.
...none of these work. i think the box is from 2009, maybe late 2008. could you help me put subtitles (closed captions) on the tv?
note:
there IS an option for subtitles on the tv itself, but it doesn't work when the cable box is plugged in (it works when we direct connect the cable wire into the tv though)
