I do not have internet enabled on my phone - websites like Myxertones do not work. I cannot wirelessly transfer data to my phone, so my only option is connecting my phone directly to my computer and transferring files that way. I'm sure many of you are aware that you can create ringtones on iTunes. I've created a few ringtones that I wish to transfer to my phone. However, they do not work when on my phone. I'm guessing they are the wrong file type. Am I correct? If so, how do I change the file type?
Also, when I view the (non-working) file on my phone, it says "m4r" after the name. I'm assuming this is the current file type, but it must be changed.
