how do i put music on my samsung mythic with the usb cord?

so i just got the phone and i want to put music on it from itunes..
Everytime i plug it in nothing pops up and if i try to install pc studio my computer freezes..

and also, what should i click it gives me the option of
media player, pc studio, mass storage and install pc studio.(it automaticly selects pc studio)
