how do i put a code into a public_html folder?

Just enter the FTP address, user name and password. I've never used Filezilla. I use FireFTP, it's a Mozilla add-on. Very easy. It has explorer-like GUI. Good luck.
 
ok so i made this weblayout for a website i have filezilla and the password all that but how to i put my code from the layout i made into a public_html fold so i can transfer is over to the site?
and...lol i know how to login and all that im tring to get the code of my layout onto the site like how you would on myspace you get the layout code put it in and your layouts changed for everyone to see but i want to put a weblayout on my sub-domain site and idk how to put it up there is no public_html folder and idk how to put my code into a php file
ohh and its a sub-domain =]
