How do i put a 350 chevy engine into a 1983 cadillac sedan deville?

Hi i have a 1983 rwd cadillac sedan deville with a 4100 motor. The engine just blew and i know that these motors are junk so i wanna replace it with a 350 chevy engine and trans. What do i need to do to make this work? What trans should i get for best gas mileage? And what steps do i need to take? Thanks
