How do I program a Sony tv remote to respond to my Philips DVD player?

I have a Sony RM-YD013 universal remote that came with my sony television. I've been trying to program it to work with my Philips DVD player, but I don't see a set-up button. I can't seem to figure it out. I know it should be possible because I found the program code (757) on the sony site. Any ideas?
