How do i pay for college without my parents support?

I am a senior in high school, and I want to go to the Academy of Art University so I can further my education in graphic design, but my parents won't support my decision because of the distance. The Academy of Art is in San Francisco and I live in San Diego,where my parents only want me to go to college. They do not think I am mature or "smart" enough to make my own decisions from some stupid stuff I did in the past. Every time I try to suggest a good art school out of San Diego they don't listen to me and they say that I won't be able to take care of myself. Also they feel it is their decision because my dad is retiring from the military so I can get free tuition BUT he has to be the one to apply and talk to the school so I can get the benefits. And no he does not support my decision either. I feel that I should be able to go to any college I want because it is MY life and MY decision. So now I want to pay for college all by myself without my parents support and I need as much help as I can get. ANY kind of advice, suggestions, help,or answers will be greatly appreciated!
