I live in Wisconsin and have been a stay at home dad for about 2 years for my children ages 3,4,and 5. I stayed home to save on daycare cost after getting laid off from prevous job almost 2 years earlier and now I got served divorce papers. My soon to be ex-wife kicked me out in the street with nothing. We were on a tight buget so not much money saved. She makes about $45,000 salary. She has taken kids away from me. And I have a criminal record. She says once I find my own place, that I can have the kids. And won't fight it. My questions are: 1.) Can she really do that? 2.) Am I entitled to alimony? 3.) How can they charge me child support with no job? She kicked me out! 4.) How much can they get from me for child support? 5.) Any advice is helpful!
We have been married for about 7 1/2 years!
I stayed at home to save money. She just found out its going to cost $325 a week for daycare and wants me to pay half of it plus 29% child support! Now thats criminal!
