Perfect example: Still Waiting - Sum 41
In any guitar cover of that song, you would see the player strumming every note of the intro in down strums. When I try to do this, my hand strains to get even close to that speed. Are there any exercises I can do that will make my palm mute speed faster? I'm trying to get fast enough to play the verse of Dammit - Blink 182 in all down strums. Also, does it have anything to do with how I hold the pick?
Sometimes I can match the speed of Still Waiting for a couple of seconds, but it starts to kinda hurt and my arm gets tired.
Is it in the wrist? Because when I mute I can't help but strain my bicep!
