how do i paint my two cherry wood tables and desk black?

i need to paint my cherry wood tables black bcuz my living room is black and cream and i cant really afford to go out and buy all new furniture how can i do it in a cheap and inexpensive way. it doesnt have to look fancy but i want it to look store bought not homemade any suggestions from someone who has experience
