How do I organize all my books?

I have a lot of books in my room and only 1 book shelf that's all ready full.
The back of my bed is full of books.
How would you organize them?
 
I think the obvious answer would be to get another bookshelf if you can (or get as many as you need) and organize them by author (if you want to be truly organized.) If you are not getting another book shelf. I'd keep my favorites on the bookshelf then get boxes for the others. I'd put something like authors "A-C" in one box, etc.. You could also use your bookshelf like the boxes, have A-whatever on it, that's up to you!

Hopefully, this will just make it easier for you to hunt for a certain book if you need to when the time comes. Going through your books just might be fun for the purposes of reminiscing, anyway :)
