How do i mod/flash a xbox 360 dvd drive to play backed up games?

I currently have a flashed dvd drive with iextreme 1.61. I am wondering sicne a friend did this one from me a simple say to do this ofr my self. Could i have a list of the things i need as well as software. Easy 10 points.
