I had my iTunes (version 9) on Windows XP Pro and backed up all the iTunes directories to a network drive. This included my media and .itl and other iTunes setting files. Now I have Windows 7 installed on my old computer and need to migrate all my media back to it. How do I do that and what directories should I copy them to? For example, my old directory that I had my media while running Win XP was c:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\My Music However, now in Win 7 I cannot see the Documents and Settings folder (it also does not appear even though I have enabled "Show hidden drives, folders, and drives" in my Folder Options). When I attempt to create it I am told it already exists and do I want to merge it. I want to be able to see all my podcasts, movies, songs, and other media where they are supposed to be found within iTunes. I will credit the one who can get this to work for me all possible "Best Answer" points. Thanks!
