How do I makeover a small bedroom without painting?

My partner is away on business so i want to suprise him by making over our bedroom for when he gets back :D

I can't paint it as we live in rented accomodation or change the flooring so I'm a bit limited.

The bedroom is also very small. The walls are magnolia (of course lol)

Ideas? I want to create a fresh and romantic feel. What can i use to do this, eg new sheets...but what else?

Rearrange the furniture put up some posters of whatever it is u like or seems romantic and of course Scented Candles!!!
