hey!
i take ballet twice a week and dance at home about an hour a day. i really love ballet but i've been told not to dance due to an injury so i really want to work on things like balance, ankle strength and my floor point. i've seen videos on youtube of girls doing there floor point and there toes touch the ground! this might not really be weird but for me it is! i've never seen anyone do that before!
you see i thought i had a high arch, cause when i do the thing when you put your foot in water then print it on a piece of paper, (apart from the balls of my foot and my heel) the wet print is only about 2 cm wide. i dont understand how my floor point is soooo bad (its like 2 inches from the ground!) when i have high arches! (well i think i do)
so do you guys have any exercises on making my floor point better (if there is any...) and do you have any tips or excesses on how to improve my balance? my balance is ok, but i would like to make it better. i know i have the strength to stay up in passe (cause i can do it if i have a barre to steady me) but i just can balance there!
