How do I make the chat feature in Yahoo! Mail Classic appear?

My daughter told me that her Yahoo! Mail Classic account now has a chat feature. I know Mail Beta has chat too, but I prefer Mail Classic because my net connection is sometimes slow. I also want to have the chat feature in my Mail Classic. I remember being notified about it but I seemed to have ignored it. How do I make the chat feature appear again?
 
At the top of your mail page,it says offline,click on that and then click on available.On left side under contacts it will list who of your contacts/friends are online.
When you are reading a mail,you will also see a gray smiley in the mail,you can click on that to chat to this contact/friend.
