How do I make people mingle around?

I am organizing a supper gathering with people coming from different student committees, and I would love for them to mingle and mix around rather than sit in their own groups.

How do I go about doing that?
My position is the overall student leader of this project that we are working on, and the whole organization comprises of 3 sub committees.
