Okay so.. almost like a year ago my aunt came from another country to America, and is living with me and my family (im 14 btw).
A while ago i got mad at her because she made it so that my dog couldnt go in this pool gate area we have in the backyard (she hates dogs). So i was pissed that she took part of my dogs freedom away.
So anyway.. family is important to her, and she didnt want me mad at her, so a few hours later she asked me if i was angry at her, and i said no (even though i still kinda was) and she said kay cuz you havent talked to me in a while.
So from that point on we were okay and back to normal.
But 2 weeks ago we got in another fight. The fight was about my cousins ex-wife coming over to my house to see us. I guess the country where she came from, its wrong to do that, you're not supposed to talk to the ex anymore because it wont be fair to the family member that divorced him/her. So i was arguing that i dont understand that, and she was arguing how she doesnt understand my way. And then she told me "youre crossing the boundaries now. i dont like the way youre speaking to me. youre a little girl you shouldnt be talking like that." even i was talking normally, i wasnt cussing or rude or anything! but of course she got her way, and the ex-wife didnt come over.
So anyway, its been 2 weeks since me and my aunt we talked. and i kinda miss talking to her. whenever i go in a room, she leaves it. she doesnt look at me or anything. if she talked to me first, i would reply. but theres no way im talking to her first, no way. But we need to start talking again because the families going on vacation soon and the situation we'll be in (like the rooming and stuff), it will be awkward if we dont talk.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get her to talk to me first??? PLEASE HELP.
btw, shes a grown woman. shes almost 50.
