How do I make best friends at a sleep away camp?

So I never went there before. Some people been there at that camp before and I know they can see their old friend. I am so nervous that no ones going to like me. I am shy so I don't really know how to approach people. Help! :(
PS: I am going to Four Winds, it is in Deer Harbor, Washington. Hope you can help me!
