You see, I'm in high school and in the Track and Field team. Everyday I run ATLEAST a mile during warm-up but the problem isn't there. But when I run 1600 (4 laps- a mile), 800 (2 laps- half a mile etc., etc.) meters, I get shortness of breath really quickly during my activity. This REALLY holds me back because I can't go as fast and my body totally slows down. I know that I can do better but this really sucks... Please help me or give me a strategy so that I won't have shortness of breath.. or atleast have a mild shortness.
