I have 2 ggg uncles that were WWI veterans. I'd like to find out WHEN they actually served. But do not know how to do that. I have already located the WWI draft registration cards for them (1917-1918). But that does not indicate when they actually served. On one uncle's headstones it has the following: Oklahoma, PFC, CO B, 335 MG BN, WWI. On his brother, I have an obituary that states he was a veteran of WWI. But I do not have any of the particulars and have not seen his headstone; so I don't know if his service appears on that or not. Would Veteran's Affairs be able to tell me anything?
