how do i listen to my ipod on my stereo without having that aux button?

i have an old stereo that only plays cd's and cassete and i was wondering if theres a cable i can use to connect my ipod to it to listen to my ipod and not cds anymore but it doesnt have that aux button that the newer stereos have and i dont want an ipod dock thing i want my stereo that has my speakers and sub hooked up.
