hi, i am looking to turbo my 1994 ford probe gt. it's 5 speed manual. the internals are mostly stock. i already have the intercooler but not the piping and all that. i want to buy it one peice at a time like get the turbo, then the manifold or headers, then piping and so on. well i want to run boost on my stock motor until i build it up. first, i hardly have any money for this project so i want a really cheap turbo, but no so cheap i have to rebuild in a months time, what turbo's come with pre set boost for a stock motor and if they dont would it hurt to run the car to set it with a manual electronic boost controller? anything that would help me out would be great. this i a project that will take a long time. oh and before i forget... where can i get forged pistons for a probe?? its the 2.5 v6 KLDE DOHC. anything like suggestions are welcome thanks!!!!!
for the first guy who answered..... i race my probe. its my toy. i got a friend with the KLDE motor that did not come turbo. he built it up himself is at 829 HP to the front wheels. i want mine like that. and he still isnt done building it. my everyday driver..even in the rain is my 05 gsxr 750.
