How do i know my passkey to 'pair devices' using Bluetooth?

Is it different than my code to change things on my phone?
I have a prepaid verizon phone, the person i want to bluetooth with has t-Mobile phone...
mine is a cheap $20 phone, but i want to try anyway...
it won't send songs :(
