Okay, i just bought a 10 month old male chinchilla and was wondering how to introduce him to his owner. He has a large cage to play in and a hiding house. Ever since i've had him (bout 2 days) he's hiding in his hiding house. He never comes out and when i make one move he runs into the corner of the little house. and in the middle of the knight he makes a noise that means he is scared. I know he is scared but i just want to no how to get him out of there and calm him so he is not afraid. If there is anyone who can help that would be great.
How do i introduce a chinchilla to its new environment and me?
