How do I install the games from The Orange Box after having installed Steam?

I installed Steam using the first disc in The Orange Box, and I assume the games come on the second disc. But when I put in the second disc, all it has is five different files, and I have no idea either where to put them or what to do once I put them in the correct place. Could someone help me?
 
Forget the disks, steam is above disks. Just add the serial codes into steam then you can download the games from there at any time and as many times as you need.

Once you have the games on your steam account, go to the games tab select the game you want to play and steam will work it all out.
