I just built a new machine and installed my windows xp but I still have my old machine that still works and I am interested in playing around with linux. I took out the dvd drive from my old machine but heard that it is possible to install the linux OS using a flash drive. I've tried to google instructions but just got more confused. I don't know what things like xubuntu, knoppix and crunchbang are. If you could explain what I need to do to install the most up to date version of linux using a usb flash drive that would be great. Thanks
