How do i install a gm aftermarket radio, and get past the radio code deal?

03' Cobalt. I am going to install a 7.5" in dash screen, and havent ever done a radio on any newer GM since they started the radio Lock codes. Do they still do themaround the 05 era. I really need to know, soon, I was going to install it this weekend for a family trip, Thanks to all who respond.
 
The code is only for the factory radio. You dont need it since the stereo will be gone. Just make sure that you have the proper conversion harness for the car.
