How do I install a fully functioning Ubuntu OS on an USB/Flash drive?

All I want to do is make my Ubuntu OS go anywhere with me. I am able to get the live version on my flash drive, but I am not sure how to put the complete and fully functioning OS on the flash drive. Help please...
