I'm running a 1.8 GHz PowerPC G5 iMac with OSX Tiger.
Apparently I use a lot of programs (music, torrents, etc.) because I've gotten a couple messages that tells me that my startup disk is getting full. I have an external harddrive, and I plan on purchasing another. Is it possible to use these to increase my computer's memory as a sort of added on memory? I have only moved my iTunes library and some other big programs into my hard drive manually.
So I guess that what I'm trying to say, is can an external harddrive be used to add memory to the computer without having to manually move things into it?
