the tv has only s-video in and out, my laptop doesnt have s-video at all, it has an hdmi, but the cord i have doesnt comunicate (hdmi to the red, white, yellow) i cant find any settings on my computer that make it work, help!
See if the tv and laptop have these ports. The only download side is the sound will only come from the laptop, not the tv.

does your tv have a dvi input if it does you can find an hdmi cord that has an hdmi connection on one side and dvi on the other...if not there is not too much you can do with out too much work.
