I have a bev 6100 hdtv sattelite receiver. I need to hook a Magnavox vcr/dvd player.

According to the magnavox instructions it says to take the satelite cable to the receiver then have a cable going from receiver(out output) to the back of the vcr/dvd (antenna in) .

Then a RF cable will be connected to the antenna out from the vcr/dvd and the other end of the RF cabe will hook to the TV.
problem i am having is that the 6100 receiver does not have an OUT OUTPUT male connecter? How do i get the get picture and audio to go from the receiver to the vcr so that i can tape shows?

Thx

Use the audio/video outputs (red, white and yellow) on the 6100 and input them into your VCR. Set the VCR to input or L1, whichever is appropiate and you will be able to record. But it will not be in HD, it will be in SD.
