How do I hook up a GM engine to a Japanese transmission?

I can acquire Japanese transmissions inexpensively compared to GM transmission. Is there any kind of universal flex plate adapter that I could use to bolt a GM engine to a Japanese transmission? And electrical sensors etc. any links or information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
 
your treading on ground not many people can't do by reading wiring diagrams to convert the sensors. it would depend on if its automatics or std trannys. And to be able to get your bell housings to bolt up would be a nightmare to engineer. If you can accomplish that im sure you'll be able to get a job at any of the auto manufacturers. good luck
