How do i hook up a cold air intake on a 1998 honda civic ex?

I have the parts but i look at it now and there are alot of wires going into the stock tubes. Its right by the engine. Like i was saying its the sensors for the vacuum. Im not sure if i need these or what. The intake is one that you build piece by piece. The Enigine is a Dy8 if that helps.
