How do i hook my pedals to my marshall vs100?

I have a vox wah that goes into a boss compressor/sustainer that goes into fultone fulldrive 2 then boss super drive then temelo then dd7 delay then boss reverb.i connected them and there is no sound. then i connected them to my practive amp with only one channel and it does work!! why is that? do i need a footswitch? what is a footswitch for? i am so confused please help!!!! thanks
