I bought the Panasonic TC-P42C2 about a week ago and I like it so far but I have not been able to hook my Gateway laptop up to it to stream movies and videos. Today I hooked up the TV using a cable that connects to the HDMI port on my Panasonic TV to my Gateway. I set up the TV to use the HDMI port to recognize the computer. I turned on the computer and the TV and the TV is displaying the desktop wallpaper but not the icons. When I do anything on the computer nothing happens on the TV. It just sits there displaying the computer desktop wallpaper.
What am I doing wrong?
