How do I hook a LXI tv to a dvd/vcr and a digital convertor box?

The tv only has a cable hookup but no audio or video jacks. How do I hook the dvd/vcr up to the digital convertor box. I have th tv hooked to the digital convertor box thru the antenna out.I tried hooking the dvd/vcr to the out put on the convertor box to the input jacks on the dvd/vcr but the dvd/vcr player doesn't work. What do I need to do?
