Absolutely pathetic..I'm 17 years old, and I was on one of my walks today...I go out like, 4 hours a day walking around town..Pretty fun. I went to go visit a friend, and because I wanted to stay out of the drive way, I was walking on the curb..And I guess something happened, and I wiped out..I fell, and I didn't exactly sprain my ankle, but I was VERY close. I think I half sprained it or something..I mean, It's not that big of a deal. I'm sure its going to heal, but how can I treat it now?
I have this temporary limp, and it's OBNOXIOUS. Come on! I'm going into town with a friend tomorrow, and I have to be slowed down by some stupid faulty step? Why does the human body have to be so goddamn weak? I want to run..
There's no bruise or anything..I just sorta sprained it..Twisted it or something..It's pathetic..I hate being slowed down by such stupid accidents.
I gotta jog tomorrow! And it better not be BROKEN!! IT'S SUMMER, AND I'LL BE DAMNED IF IM GOING TO SPEND MY FIRST WEEK OF SUMMER WITH A BROKEN ANKLE... Just saying..I mean..One time I broke my finger, and it didn't hurt..I mean, i felt pain, but it wasn't bad or anything..
Any advice you guys have on how to quickly heal my ankle will be greatly appreciated. I'm not even that concerned really..Just annoyed. But I figured that I'd ask here first, because I tend to do a lot of stupid stuff that makes things worse instead of better.
My mom suggested an ice pack but...What good is an ice pack? It's just cold. How does it help? I wanna heal my ankle so I can run again by tomorrow, not numb it to the point where I can't feel it.
