How do I hang a mosquito net canopy ?

I need a mosquito net to carry around during frequent trips.........I never hung one before in my life, so where do I start?
DO I have to make a hole in the ceiling to hang it ?
Is there an option to the screw hook ??
Sorry but I can't figure myself bringing a drill with me around Africa..........
