how do i go faster on a toyota tacoma?

i have a 1998 toyota tacoma V6 4wd extra cab and i wanted to know if i should use overdrive

If you do not then you are wating a lot of money as is basically a low gear and O/D is what you drive in. How fast do you want to go? It sounds like you are young and speed limit is as fast as you need. You did not even know that you do not drive in O/D!!!

Well all overdrive does is lower your rpm at cruising speeds to give you better gas mileage. Its not gonna make you go faster, Tacomas are slow anyways
