i've decided to clean houses on the side for some extra money. it sounds cheap and probably like i'm ripping myself off but the price i'd like to offer is maximum $100 per house and i won't go by hour. the exact price depends on the size of the house and if its extremely large, the, again, most i plan on charging is $100. i just want to do this to save a little money and gain some work experience as well. i'm a fairly neat person and never do a sloppy job when it involves getting paid. i was wondering how to get customers and how i should go about starting such a business. as odd as it sounds, i don't feel too comfortable cleaning houses for those i don't know which might pose a challenge but its something i'm ready to deal with. i don't necessarily live in the wealthiest of areas so i can't exactly ask my neighbors. also, would people go for these prices? what i'm charging would technically be considered under minimum wage and is by most standards, probably with a few exceptions, very cheap.
