I am a professional photographer based in Adelaide, South Australia. In June/July 2010 I am planning to travel to Cambodia to donate my skills as a professional photographer to a variety of charities.
The photographs will be used by the charities as an important part of their promotional material to help build awareness of their projects in Cambodia. I am now in contact with these charities and am currently planning a time line and action plan for the trip. It is a similar story with all the people I have been in contact with in that all of these charities would greatly benefit from having professional photographs of their overseas programs.
As the whole trip is dedicated to charity I am looking to get funding to cover some of the costs, mainly travel and accommodation and I am a bit lost as to how I should go about getting the funding and who to approach?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
