Im an aspiring photographer and i'll be making my way to New Orleans in July for two family reunions.This time around I want to take different pictures-ones that are very rare and fascinate me the most.
Six Flags over New Orleans was destroyed due to Hurricane Katrina and has been left untouched ever since.
Ive done research and found that other photographers have illegally entered and some got caught by city police ( but they let them go). The Pictures are very rare, and to my knowledge- only a few photographers got the chance to get some shots in. I really really want to takes some pictures here because I love the abandoned look and I also have pictures from when it was in operation to where I can do side by side comparisons. My only worry is getting caught if I were to trespass. Im only 18 and I don't plan on going to jail just for trying to further my career.lol.
My Question is :
Is there any way I can obtain a permit from the city to "legally" enter six flags?
and
How do I go about getting it?
Would I have to pay anything?
All I need is 30 mins. lol. If I cant get a permit then I'll be forced to trespass. ( IVE GOT TO GET THESE PICS)
