How do i go about fixing my Turtle Beach X1 series headset?

About a month ago i bought an x1 from a best buy and its broken (*obviously*) but i cant really pinpoint what part is broken, if you know anything about an x1 or how to fix it in general please answer fast i only have a little bit of time left in my warranty... basically whats going on is i can hear people and the game perfectly but i cant speak into the "adjustable boom", people cant seem to hear me and once in a while apparently ill start sending spam static through and i cant hear it but my freinds can, ANSWER ANSWER ANSWER ANSWER
