How do I give photos the old look?

For my History project, I wrote this letter as if I'm a soldier writing home and I made it look so real by crumpling it and dipping it into tea.

For the project, we must include one picture. i have this perfect one that's already black/brown and white but it won't look that old if I print it out. Will it end up okay if I crumple it up and dip that into tea too?

Or is there something else you can suggest?
I don't think you understand my question. It's in a sephia tone already and I cut it out already. I'm just wondering how to make it old or antique.

Very very carefully take a match and burn just the very edge of the photo. Don't crumple it but instead just fold one part so it cracks along a single line. A small stain would help but don't soak it. Another thing to do is set it in the sun for a couple of days and let it fade a bit.

Don't dip it in tea the ink will run, you can crumple it a little and maybe use something sharp (knife or razor blade) to scratch some ink off the photo.
