How do I get Windows Media Player to stop automatically RIPing all CD's I put in?

I accidentally clicked for Windows Media Player to automatically rip all cd's I put in and now whenever I put one in that is already there, it keeps ripping it over and over again. How do I fix it so it stops doing that automatically???
 
if you have vista go to start>control panel>autoplay>and change it there.

if you have like xp, then it should be similar. but you have to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
 
right click on the upper blank plane click tools,the options, the click rip music tab and uncheck rip when cd is inserted hope that helped
 
go to the settings or preferences to turn it off.

in windows, go to Tools, then Options, then under the Rip section, uncheck the thing that says to rip cd's automatically.
