How do i get wifi back on my at&t nokia e71x?

I installed an update on the phone and now it will not let me use my wifi at all. and when i go to settings> WLAN wiz. it says system error. How do i uninstall this new update to get my wifi back. At&t says i must get a $30 data plan to use the wifi?
