Don't criticize me too harshly, I just started learning HTML. I created an HTML document in wordpad, and thought I did a great job until I tried to open it in the browser and saw this /PAR before every sentence. I can't figure out what I did wrong. Below is the document as I wrote it. Thanks in advance!

Holly's college career wasn't always so promising.
Holly graduated from high school in May of 2005 with honors and a Hope Scholarship.
She then started school at Georgia Perimeter College.
Her first semester, she made satisfactory grades (an A, 2 B's, and a C) to maintain her Hope Scholarship.
Her second semester, however was abyssmal. She stopped attending all of her classes and earned 3 failing grades.
She felt burned out from school and felt she could not do it any longer, so she dropped out.
Holly then began working 2 full time jobs to pay rent on her first apartment (as well as other various bills).
The real trouble came when she began having car problems.
Holly could not afford the costly repairs, so she was forced to use MARTA to get to and from her jobs.
This forced her to be on a train or a bus for 6 hours everyday.
This disallowed her to keep both of her full time jobs.
With only one job, Holly could barely pay rent and keep herself fed.
Holly finally decided that she couldn't live like that forever and decided she had to go back to school
She moved to Clayton County and enrolled in Clayton State University (where her rent was much less expansive)
Holly still had to work to pay her bills, so she was only able to attend 2 classes at a time.
A year and a half passed, and Holly only had 6 completed classes to show for it.
It was only then that Holly decided to swallow her pride and move in with her grandparents so she could attend school full time.
